ANNUAL INSPECTIONS
A firm called MTB will be doing our annual inspections
again this year. I don't know exactly when this will
occur but I'm guessing within the next month or two.
You will all be notified before this begins. During
Annual Inspection, your apartment will be totally inspected
for cleanliness, damages, etc. You must have your stove
and refrigerator clean. YOU MUST HAVE ALL MOLD AND MILDEW
in your bathrooms cleaned up. No blocked windows or
cords running across floors are allowed.
Before Annual Inspections occur, please call in Work Orders
for items you know are broken or damaged. I just ordered
new stoves and refrigerators. If you have a stove that
doesn't light immediately when you turn on your stove,
please report this to the office.
REAC INSPECTIONS
After the Annual Inspections, there will be another inspection
called REAC Inspection. This is done by an inspector
contracted by HUD. They will pick random apartments
to inspect on this one so not all of you will be inspected.
The same criteria will be in force.
RESIDENT SURVEY
In the next few weeks a random number of you will receive
a Customer Satisfaction Survey from HUD. Normally the
majority of the people who respond to this survey are
the ones I'm evicting, so if you're happy living here,
I would appreciate it a whole bunch if you would respond
to the survey.
ELDERLY RESIDENT DINNER
Each month we have a luncheon for our elderly residents.
The next luncheon will be March 18 at 11:30 in the Community
Room. Due to the growing number of residents attending
the luncheon, we ask that if you bring a guest, just bring
one. If you want to bring family members, you can bring
as many as you like. Also, please remember that everyone
who attends brings a dish to share with the other residents.
